[click here for the Brickshelf gallery]

I was supposed to be sorting my bricks, but ThePlasticJedi's Slave III contest motivated me to procrastinate yet again and build something instead. This Slave includes an opening cargo hold for storing up to two frozen MINI bounties.

Hope you all like the model, and hope to see more entries for the contest!

Dennis

p.s. Slaves are fun to build. Build one now!

(edit: added thumb for cargo hold shot, fixed typo)

OMG! That this is so cool! Shocked
I love Slave ships and that has to be the best mini for one i've seen, seriously!
The only problem is that i'm not around my own lego to build my own version. Sad

Excellent - sooo much better than the official mini version. Nice work building those side panels with the studs horizontal - those roof bricks re-create the body curve brilliantly.

Awesome design! Very SNOTty and the sand blue looks great. My favorite detail are those 2x2 both studs on the back (engines?).

You should make a mini fig scale size too I'm sure it'd be awesome!

It is certainly brilliant, I would like everyone who reads this to take this as a challenge so that you too enter my contest and try to beat the crap out of this slave Wink.

Yeah, what he said. Smile I'm sure people can do better than this. One thing is that this model ended up looking too similar to the originals. I'm hoping other people can come up with some original, cool Slave concept designs that we can all gawk at.

For some inspiration, check out this Slave III concept I found on the web. Wicked cool.
