To everyone out there on FBTB --- HAPPY LEGO DAY!!!!

The second Valentine's Day (The first was Feb 1999, pre-EI) my wife and I were married we surprised each other with LEGO SW sets. I gave here the 7124 Flash Speeder and she gave me the 7134 A-wing Fighter.

From that day on we have called February 14th LEGO Day and celebrated accordingly.

To day has been no different: I received 7256 Jedi Starfighter & Vulture Droid and my son received the 8418 Mini Loader.

So to those who are feeling a little low today in Repoort's St. Valentine thread ... Go out and celebrate with a LEGO set of your choice!!!!

Enjoy and HAPPY LEGO DAY!

Hey, now there's an idea...since I do love Lego...

Unfortunately, I won't have a chance to purchase any Lego today, but maybe I can spend some extra time with it.... Razz

It seems that twitterpation has different effects on people.

In Lord Thrawn's case it seems it makes him a little looney. ::D:

Wow! I actually bought FOUR Lego sets today, before even reading this thread Very Happy

First I found two SW Minis (the Sith Infiltrator and the ISD) on sale.. which means cheap for being here in Sweden. I also got the Yeti Hideout, 7412.

Then I met a person in hometown (visiting my parents right now) who sold me a wonderful copy of this set:

The instructions and the Lego was in immaculate conditin. The box had some damage to it, but nothing bad. I'm trying to complete my Paradisa collection - yes, I'm a girl Wink - and this was a very nice addition!

Oh wow, I remember that one. Wink I think it was one of the first ones I'd gotten as a kid that I can remember having white hands... I was so used to the yellow hands that it never occured to me to do something like gloved ones instead. I clearly remember thinking that rider fig was "above" all the other minfigs simply because it looked so upper-class. ::D:

Happy LEGO day, too. Smile
