This is so fantastic. There's also no way I'll be able to put my opinion down here, so I'll litter flickr with it.

Keep up this awesome work.

Holy shiitake! This is awesome! I would compare it to something, but there's nothing to compare it to. If I were you, I would go to Billund, sit down with TLG, and get them to mass produce this!

Shocked We need one of those expressions for jaw dropping. The immense scale and DETAIL, I mean turbo lift DOORS. Shocked What are the dimensions of the entire thing? The sheer level of detail is just amazing. I mean it's just, just beautiful! There aren't adjectives to describe how great a job you've done.

Well, I was going to suggest the Battle of Coruscant, but I guess that'd be mostly grey as well.

Okay, I swear on my best friend's life that I am the most excited member on here right now. OMG, I jumped out of my seat and screamed with joy! Mr. Green That second pic reminds me of that level on Rogue Squadron III where you blow up an Imperial base of some sort (it has AT-STs everywhere) and get to drive an AT-AT towards the end.

I love this so much! It's totally awesome! All I can ask is that you do more of these things in the future, even if they're smaller in size. The amount of detail you've put in is fantastic. Very Happy

One question though. Will you ever take it to bits? I really hope not because it's creations like these that deserve to go in some sort of Lego museum. Idea Everyone should see this! Cool

Wonderful!

I especially love your expanded universe vehicle and starship customs, the train and the statues.

The kind of diorama I wish I've could see in true rather through a screen...

Congratulations!

Thanks again everyone, I'm glad it's got such a great reaction Very Happy
For all of you who live in the south of England I hope to show it off at this event;
http://www.brickish.com/eventDetail.aspx?ID=41596
In Swindon over the first weekend in October.
I can't promise to keep it forever, so much of my collection is tied up in it, but I'll keep it for a few more months and hopefully display it again in public before it goes to the big sorting box in the sky.
Keep building everyone!

I wish LEGO would immortalize great fan creations such as this.

I know they've got there hands full and can't be expected to keep up with all of what their fans create, but if they could have like a special traveling collection of certain top creations.

Maybe they could have a special team that recreates these works allowing the builder to disassemble their work to reclaim their collection for future builds and the new LEGO owned creation could be displayed either at a LEGO land or travel from park to park or convention to convention with a little plaque attributing the design to the original builder.

Hehe sorry for going off topic just got my brain a' thinking.

Any way great job on this one. Smile

Awesome work once again!

This thing is oozing with so many amazing details, it's impossible for me to spot them all. The volcanic "cloud-effects" are extremely well done, and explosions are executed wonderfully. My favorite though has to be the rebel transport. I know it was a model before this diorama, but it's my first time seeing it. That shape is fairly complicated, but you nailed it spot on. Keep em' coming! Cool

I think I've just seen my all-time favourite MINI diorama. Shocked

It's so incredibly awesome, with all the action, details and different vessels from AT-AR to T3-B - and the sheer scale of the diorama.
The detailing is magnificent; all the superb and functional-looking buildings (the inside of the Imperial base is brilliant), the little walkways to get into the walkers easier, the curved large walkway, the cantina for Imperial troops, the little speeder bikes on the train, the Rebel GR-75 with its deflector shields trying to resist the bomber attack.. Pure win, simply.

With a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give this the minimum of 15 points. Smile

I'll have to agree with Galagoo on that, this is absolutely stunning. You've made such an impressive array, and the best part is that there seems to be logic and story to it. Most mini dioramas look pretty thrown together, but I'm liking what I see. Especially fantastic has to be the explosion/smoke effects on the crashing X-Wing. this just rocks!

I have nothing but shock and awe for how well this was done. Really excellent! Is that a Mon Cal Star Cruiser those TIEs are bombing?

It seems to be a GR-75 transport (or GR-45, I'm not sure about the scale).

The detail is truely immense. I really like the bridge the At-At and walkers are on.
