It looks like both the System-scale and mini V-19s have open-backed cockpits when the middle wing is down.
At least they're consistent in creating a torrential flood of life-suffocating vacuum for each one's pilot.

Maybe the three we've gotten instructions for are going to be released as future (glued) bag charms? Only they're giving us instructions to 'build (y)our own'. I dunno.
I doubt we'll see a new Mini line but you never know.

I had actualy started building this in LDD. Got to the top wing section then got bored.

OK, I just clicked this link from the front page and it said this:
"Like the previous mini sets, the release status is still unknown."
Can anyone tell me what the "Previous" mini sets are? I've been out of pocket for a while. I stopped collecting when they stopped making the Mini sets. However, this would REALLY interest me! Thanks. neo

Ace is referring to the instructions found earlier this year for the new/redesigned MINI TIE Fighter and MINI Snowspeeder. Let me find them... here:
8028 Mini TIE Fighter
8029 Mini Snowspeeder
(There were also the instructions for never-released MINI Droid 'Snail' Tank based on the one from ROTS in the Wookiee Attack set.)

Thanks, those are awesome. I REALLY wish LEGO would bring these back. In fact, I wish they would extend the Mini line past Star Wars. I was really hoping for some Speed Racer Minis. Oh well! neo
