Shocked Wow. Great incorporation of Bionicle parts there, I can't wait until I have time to properly ogle this thing. Also: cheers to your nav monkey. Brilliant take on the droid companion angle. Laughing

Beautiful, i love it, apart from the fact you got your monkey in before mine Wink Oh well, great minds think alike. Except, you build better.
This is lush and there are too many great things to pick out. I'll just sit here and drool.

Glorious. From the Bionicle parts to the Viking shields, to the smoke, the cockpit, the monkey and his map . . . pure awesomeness.

That is just awesome. Pure awesomeness. Definately one of my favourites (if not the favourite) in the contest.

Combination of bricks and Bionicle parts is just beautiful. I can't also do anything else that praise the colour scheme choise, the colours fit perfectly making the ship look both Steampunkish and Naboo-styled.
In addition, you've managed to make the belly look really great-looking, I really like it.

With all the details of it, I can't say any bad words about it. Magnificent work. Smile

I will tell you the same thing I told Rocko: I hate you Wink

You just HAD to do a Naboo Starfighter and make me look stupid. Thanks, jerk Razz

Great build, and instantly recognizable.

Dear god. At first glance I said wow. Then I looked at the detail and couldn't even say wow, speachless. I'm assuming the steam engine and boiler are concealed in the body, but other than that nice.

Agreed, there are some very nice details in here. You've got a good color scheme going on– I for one like the "upscale"ness the silvery Bionicle pieces give the ship. They lend a nice Victorian feel to the craft as well as some more delicate mechanical intricacy. And the monkey is, of course, hilariously brilliant.

There's one thing that really sticks out though, and that's the fairly bare SNOT construction of the ship's tan wings. It's a fine technique, but in this case that area between the viking shields and the cockpit just looks very flat and empty, especially compared to the rest of the ship: it's as if my brain sees and thinks "those are bricks on their side" rather than "that 's a ship." I realize you were probably going for the sleek-wing look of the original N1, but maybe if there was more of a slope to integrate them more into the body, or something else to break up the flat plane there... It just looks very squashed and flat to me.

I love the pilot. Excellent choice to use Lando's helmet as a great melding of the Naboo pilot helmets from AotC and something a bit more steampunky.

I really like this one. You've come up with your own take on the steampunk aspect. Your color scheme and your attention to detail make it so much steampunk without losing the streamlined feel of Naboo. And since the original ship has so much classic airplane in the design, I think your use of futuristic Bionicle parts really do the trick of making it totally unique.

Wow. This is amazing. The details are everywhere and are superb, the Bionicle parts are well incorporated, and it was a good idea to use the ice cream as the steam. As I look at it, I can see a dwarf helmet and ice picks. Great job on incorporating those into the model. This is really a fantastic job!
