Well, here's my entry to dW and Don's Steam Wars contest. The Steam Skiff:
<---Link to gallery when public. Sorry for the blurrieness.

EDIT: Finally got around to uploading the new pics! Laughing

I had to custom-make a boiler because the parts I would have used I only have in white and dark red.

Without Sepia...

With Sepia!

Hope you like it! Smile

I like the whole concept. Although the color concept is a little off. I like the propeller in the back, maybe you should add another side to it...

Just some thoughts!

I think changing grey to brown may be a little better. But I do like it, and I don't think anyone was thinking of doing a skiff. Good job.

I don't think even changing the color scheme would help it look more like a steam powered skiff.

The key elements to a Steampunk MOC are missing (or I missed them). I don't see a boiler, which is necessary (for the most part) for a steam powered vehicle. There also seems to be a lack of mechanical looking parts (gears, little technic bits, domes, valves, etc). While it is a good concept, I think the execution was a bit off. I would file this one under WIP for the moment, and go back and try to add some more steampowered mechanical bits and pieces.

It's only the slightest inmprovement. it still doesn't look steam powered.

Well...it needs more brown and a bigger area in the front. It still looks to futuristic to me. But it's ok-ish so far...
