B-man, love is one area that the trout stays completely away from; people do too many irrational things and I'd end up busy 24/7.

And I guess it looks like I apparently have a Jealousy Valentine this year. Now be sure to tell him I bought you some type of lavish gift. Wink

Well, I got 2 e-cards last year, then trashed them. I don't like the idea of spending money on a girl I'm not completely sure about. Money that could be spent on precious LEGO. Mmn. LEGO. My TRUE love.

Woops, anyway, I'm a happy man. Half term, nooneknows where I live, never mind my address, so I'm clear! Happy Valentines for all of you who care! Wink

Just like any other day, you can be miserable, or make it a great day, it's up to you.

I'm single this Valentine's Day for the first time in almost 10 years. You know what? I'm really looking forward to it. Smile

Being married, Valentine's Day is one of the better holidays. My wife and I actually celebrated last night since there would be fewer people trying to go out to dinner. We got a sitter for our son and just enjoyed each others company for a couple of hours. Very nice. Wink After spending too many years without a Valentine, it's good to have one every year.

I botched last year's Valentine's Day when I went off to PDX in Oregon. My girlfriend wasn't too happy about it.. Confused

This year, we're doing things simple. Getting some food at Chipotle, going back to her house to exchange gifts and play some games, watching a date movie, then going out for ice cream. And of course, the lovely lady gets the requisite flowers.

It's nothing fancy, but it's what we wanted to do.

I think Valentine's day is kinda nice, unless you feel forced to participate.

You can make your own Valentine's day any day you want... that seems more thoughtful to me. "Yesterday was Valentine's day! My love gave me a flower! I feel so special!" Smile

Happy love day everyone!

Yes, but you see... buying a girl 12 Dunkin Donuts IS nice, I'll admit that, but when you take a bite out of five of them before she gets a chance to chose one for herself, it sort of takes away some of the romance in it... know what I mean? Wink

<nitpicky>I caught you a fresh bass</nitpicky>

I am dating a girl be we aren't serious so I got her flowers yesterday and went to lunch, but my brother is in a semi-serious relationship. He found a chocolate fish at a local store and he bought it, went to his girlfriend and said the above quote. She, my brother, two of her friends and I saw Napoleon Dynamite together for the first time together, and we all made the desicion that the above quote would be the pickup line of 2004, so when my brother "picked up" his girlfriend today, he used the line and gaver her the fish, and to say the least, she died laughing.

No seriously, he is really sad. Razz

Well, I didn't do anything today. I'm currently single, and against single people celebrating Valentine's just for the sake of celebrating. On the other hand, should you have a girl/boyfriend, or spouce, or are planning on asking someone out, go right ahead an celebrate!

Although.. I do have a date for this weekend! And would you believe she aksed me out!

Edit :: Oh yeah, not to mention I do have a valentine today.
