Meet Z'Tarro Nurg, called Zeetar by many.

His parents were both Sullustan He never really knew his parents as they both died when he was very young. Zeetar lived on a small planet called Z'Tharrion, or Z-01 in Basic, in the outer rim. Zeetar has always been small. He got laughed at when he was young and never had many friends. He used to spend his time building things. He always had his tools with him.

The Empire never really had interest in Z-01, for it was a small and desolate planet. However, when the Empire had sent probe droid everywhere in the Galaxy to find the hidden Rebel Base, Z-01 was thought to be the planet the rebels were hiding on. The Empire attacked Zeetar's colony, killed and destroyed everything and in the middle of the battle young and small Zeetar managed to slip aboard an Imperial Landing Craft. He was taken away to an Imperial Star Destroyer, where they discovered him.

He was ordered to be put in an Escape Pod immediately and he was sent towards the nearest moon, named Qsyypau, also known as the ""Ship's Graveyard". On this moon, nothing lived. The only thing surrounding him were broken Starfighters, Cruiser and other junk. But, as always Zeetar still had his Toolbox with him and started to build a ship. He took the remains of a very old Naboo Starfighter, without even knowing what it was and attached the back of an X-Wing to it. He took off, but his first flight was dramatic. The double X-Wing motors were too strong for the Naboo Engine on the other side of the ship. He crashed and remained unconscious for 12 hours. When he woke up he attached a bigger Y-Wing Engine on the place the Naboo Starfighter's Engine used to be. He added some extra guns, in case there would be any danger, and he took off.

There was, however, a problem. There was not enough fuel to go wherever he went and hyperspace travelling was too dangerous with his ship as it might have fallen apart. He landed on a nearby planet named Tatooine...

Here he came to know Jabba the Hutt. Zeetar became a bounty hunter and always still got laughed at because of his ship, the Z-01 Starfighter, which was as ugly as (beep)... Very Happy

I hope you like it. I spent quite some time building this.
It's my entry for the "Uglies" contest.
Comments are very welcome Very Happy

Haha little Zeetar so small...

Sorry! A very nice background to the whole essence of pilot and machine. Must have taken you a while to think of that backstory. The minifig is also a bit like an ugly combination(Not saying it is ugly but it is a mix of a few..).

The ship, very distincitive and nicely built but the X-Wing engine looks a bit top heavy, being higher than the nabbo fighter's engine it looks as though it will droop to one side a little.

That is quite the site, but still awesome none the less.

I always wondered what an ugly would look like after reading the X-Wing series. Well that's pretty much what I'd expect. Sweet job.

Asymmetry FTW! Very Happy I think the ship's components can be improved a little, as in the official models are a bit lacking IMO, but the way this thing all comes together is very nice. I like it. Adding another ship would be pushing it, but you can greeble it up a bit for a more funky vibe.

I have to say I really like this ship, I'm not crazy about using official sets, but still. The left (naboo fighter) side is really well executed and thought out. My only complaint is the x-wing half is too far behind, you could bring that to the front. I'm all for asymmetry , but it's a tad too chaotic.

Ok, I'm not even going to bother entering this contest anymore. Wink

That is great! Half X-wing Half N-1 and one engine of a Y-wing! That's great! unique and sweet looking to say the least.

Looks prettu ugly Wink
I actually like yours more then some others ones I've seen. The main reason is because you didn't just simpley combind the whole Xwing side and attach it to the whole Naboo Fighter side and then attach a whole Ywing engine on the side.
You put parts of each ship into other parts, like you combined the Ywing engine with the Naboo engine. etc.
Making it look more "junky" and like it was built by pirates in a junk yard Wink Which btw is a good look to go for I think for this contest. Razz

Holy cow, that really is ugly! (but in a good way.)
I love how the whole thing literally looked like the ships were evenly split and glue together, with no blending. Kudos.
