I might replace it by the time entries are over though - this is a few weeks old and I can do better. But there are no rules against old MOCs as far as I saw.

Will it be OK if I enter a Skipray Blast boat? A lot of sources put in the capital ship class (like the Imperail source book) due to it's massive amounts of weapons  but it's only 25 meters long.
I've got a space station that will be posted soon as well

Whatever it's on, we will only consider the space station and/or ship. So you can use anything as a stand, be it baseplate or clear transparent parts.

So, guess who's finally going to post a moc after two years of holding back. That's right, me. And this very contest inspired me to do it.
I do have one concern, though...the starships and spacestations will be judged totally separately, right? 'Cause I'm committing everything I have in my small college collection to my starship, and don't have enough to put together a decent station at the same time. Just wanted to make sure that the judges won't hold that against me, since I appear to be one of the only people without entries in both categories.

Yes, both the space station and the starship will be judged separately

Well there isnt anything in there in the rules that says you HAVE to enter both categories if you dont want to.
