Thought it would be cool place to talk about cars, and post pics or talk about your ride. I'll start it off. In case you haven't noticed, I am a car-freak.

My main driver ATM is a 1997 Volvo 850 Wagon (got it for only $2000!)
Here she is

And in the works, a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe
Terrible shot

I plan on putting an Eleanor kit on the Mustang, I am thinking it would look pretty nice.

After my old 1990 Chrysler New Yorker was stolen for the second time at the end of last year, I got an awesome 2007 Volkswagen Passat to replace it. Very Happy

I just got a five-door gunmetal Mazda3 because I switched to a school in San Antonio, and I can't just bum rides off of friends any more.

I drive my moms old 2000 Hyundai Accent. Its a great car, and my parents gave it to me for a birthday gift.

Best part- my mom really never drove anywhere besides work, so there was only 50,000 miles on it. It has the original manufactures warranty of 100,000 miles, and it is only half way there after 7 years. Sweet Very Happy

Drives nicely, and has good speakers and AC. Thats all I need for my ride, really.

My car is a '97 red Jeep Cherokee. It is my first car and I bought it last September. Here is the gallery of pictures of when it was new (to me anyway.):
http://www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=152518

Since the photos were taken I have customized the car. Not anything big, mind you, just things like new floor mats, pads on the roof racks for surfboards, and custom stickers. I have a small X-wing sticker under the word Sport on each side and a sticker with the Rebel symbol and the words Red 5 on the rear window.

I really like my Jeep. It has good driving characteristics. I just wish that it got better than 18 miles per gallon driving around town. It probably doesn't always even get that many. The AC also doesn't work, which can be a little of a pain during the summer on the Outer Banks.

My first choice for my first car was a VW Jetta, but since my parents needed a four wheel drive vehicle around and they were gracious enough to pay for half of the cost of my Jeep, I settled for the Cherokee.

Mercury Sable 1988. It still has only about 69000 miles on it. It was owned by old couple that left it parked for 3 years when it has a tranny problem.

It turned out that it just needed tranny fuild. It runs very well, but with large block V6, it eats gas at 15 MPG. Sad

I don't own a car, and don't think I'll have one for a while. I'll finally get my license in 2 or 3 months, but even then I won't be driving much.

My parent's cars are a '93 Toyota Landcruiser, an '01 VW Beetle, and an '05 Subaru Forester...I drive all three but don't much like any of them. The only automatic is the Landcruiser, which is also the biggest, slowest, worst handling, most expensive gas (though I haven't starting paying for that yet, thankfully). So I never really want to drive it, but its better than the hassel of driving the manual cars.

I'm really not good at driving stick. I've gotten to the point where I can drive around town and on slowish twisty roads and such a bit, but it always feels like just keeping the engine running is taking up all of my brainpower. And of course I always seem to stall when there are people behind me at stoplights...Sad

I drive an 03 Dodge Neon SXT. It has just over 60000 miles onit, would be much lower, but my sister put over 10k on it while looking for a new car(hers is an 06 Chevy Malibu now, she rolled it 3 months after getting it), and my mom is using hers while she saves up to get rear brakes put on her 03 caravan.

V6 Premium. I got a trade-in off my old truck in addition to employee pricing and have only $120 a month in payments, so I couldn't resist.

A 1994 Blue Dodge Grand Caravan!!

The paint is mostly gone on the roof, and there is a big chunk out of the bug shield on the hood from where I hit a pheasant, but it gets me where I need to go.
