Hello everyone! Good to see ya! Well, it's finally time to announce the winners of this here contest! It was very difficult to choose the victors amongst such great entries, but alas, we had to.

I'll first send out my Honorable mentions. Tying at "Fourth Place" were Bwu and Olog! You guys did great, you have nothing to be ashamed of Smile

Coming in at third place is..... Mystery Machine! Great model, great X-wing feel, good job tzidik!

Coming in at a very close second is..... FoxPrimus! Really, really awesome build!

And finally, what you've all been waiting for, coming in at first place with the model that will take over for the X-wing is...... Legohaulic! Your vision of an evolved X-wing was a thing of beauty, Congrats!

it was indeed a great contest and i had alot off fun building the stubby!
and I enjoyed seeing others interpritations of the title "X-wing Evoluiton" there were no bad entrys, and alot of really good ones!

There were a lot of great designs from everyone esle that enter'd it's just to bad there aren't enough prizes to go all the way to 5th place, as I know the judges have had to of had a real hard time deciding past the top 5/6.

Actually, all this 2-weeks tension before the judges gave their verdict made me not care about whether I win or lose, I had lots of good comments towards my X-wing and that's all that matters... the morale boost was very welcome for me at this early stage of MOC-ing (and especially at this age when I have tons of responsibilities and it's really darn hard to keep MOCing at the same time). So thanks everyone for the kind words and the people who encouraged me to move upwards and get to know other good builders and good people..

The tension is over at last, thanks for the excellent contest TPJ, had a lot of fun doing this and coming 4th, wow. Congratulations to the top 3 and olog though my favourite was spooks design too, though legohaulic's really did look like a next generation xwing more than anyone else's.

Also thanks for Don, Andrew, and Daz for your comments on flickr. Btw, Don, whats your pick on the lottery numbers Wink

My top five were just my favorite picks, not necessarily what I thought was truest to the contest guidelines... but I had no say in the outcome. At least, I don't think I did. But of course, it's up to the judges whether or not they want to go in depth with their picks.

Either way, I still think it was a very successful run. Once again, thank you TPJ for setting this up, Thank you Turkey19 for hosting the gallery on flickr, thank you to the 10 judges for you know... judging, and thank you to all the entrants who gave us some nice MOCs to look at!
