I just came here to post my FF7 minifigs, and look what I find.  Awesome, boses! Kind of big, but very cool nevertheless.
I've been thinking about doing some FF8 minifigs too, but haven't gotten around to it. You may have inspired me...

It looks pretty good, but might I suggest using some other peices to small it down?
 
You're only problem would be trying to find a way to fit them together. |
