You'd do better to buy the sets. $30 for the tomb and motorcycle chase. You get all three figures, plus an extra Indy and Soldier. Plus all the extra parts...

Yeah. Also, did anyone notice Henry Jones's hat is the wrong color?

But I think the point of this Lego offering is provide a different type of enjoyment (magnets) for Indy fans. I am so glad that they are bringing back magnets and also hope for more Batman ones now that the problem (kids swallowing them) has been fixed.

I saw these at the LEGO store over in Houston a couple weeks ago. I was surprised to see the minifig magnets back. I asked the dude working about the magnets. Turns out that the magnets are now in the bases that the figures are on, rather than the figures themselves. So, you're basically getting three normal minifigs with three large bases with magnets in them. (Note that there's an additional part sticking out the back that the minifigs attach to, so they're not just standing on the block.)

I guess this can be seen as either good or bad. Good if you want to use the minifigs outside of their magnet functions, bad if you don't want to display them with those clunky bases.

Recall that the kids-swallowing-magnets kerfuffle resulted from MegaBlox products... Just saying...

Note that I didn't buy them, so I'm just going on what was said by the dude working at the LEGO store.
