OK, so it's snowing in the Staffordshire area here in the UK. Anywhere else?

Is this the first snowfall of the season?

It's too early for snow. We get snow here in Lincoln, Nebraska this early sometimes, but in general it doesn't start snowing until mid-November.

Its starting to get pretty cold in Missouri, but we wont get snow till around then end of November and then on. Maybe a flurry sometime soon, but those aren't anything special. Lets just keep the fingers crossed for a few good snow days...

While I have not moved far enough south for snow to become the kind of thing I see only on the news... I have moved far enough south where the idea of snow sticking to the ground for months and exposed skin warnings are a thing of the past...

In the 3.5 years I have lived in Vacaville, there has been no snow. The closest was then there was frost on the grass one morning last December. However, we usually get a bit of snow when we go home to Nebraska for the holidays.

Both my wife and I are from the Lincoln part of the "Good Life". I also have relatives in Fremont. Small world, eh?

The Nut Tree is still in Vacaville, but it's been rebuilt and is mostly chain shops now. The original stand has been gone for a number of years. I don't recall anything about a Ren Fest over there. I believe it may have been moved over towards Napa.

Yeah, small world. Next thing you know we'll find out we're cousins twice removed or some such thing.

I checked it out, and they haven't held the Ren Fest there for a few years. I was going there in 2000/2001. It was a pretty cool event.
