Have you ever noticed, that even when there is a good amount of people on the forums, there is an awkward silence where no one is posting anything?

This has happened to me dozens of time.

Certainly there is something on the forums that we would want to talk about, right?

If this has happened to you, have you ever tried to break the silence (as I am doing right now)?

Could be that they're reading meaningful threads, browsing, or posting long, insightful comments in places where it matters.

I'm not saying sitting there for hours, but more like coming on the the forums, expecting there to be some new interesting posts, but there being none.

I come on here the most when I really don't have anything else, a lot more when I'm working on trades, and seeing no new posts kind of puts a damper on it all because I'm still left with nothing to do

Also, am I seeing some negativity from you, Iceman?

Alright, I really hate how most of you assume I'm on here 24/7. Besides, I'm not acting like this is a big deal even. It is just something I've noticed from time to time.

Do I expect members to be posting like crazy? No, I don't. I expect them to have lives that keep them occupied most of their day.

Heres the deal, you were probably in one of these "awkward silence moments" when you posted this, and this thread really has no purpose other than to complain about a site that has been pretty empty for about the past year or so, so go and look yourself in the mirror, and ask yourself, "why am I arguing about nothing?"

If you want something to do, go play with your Legos, and then post a MOC, otherwise make some effort to contribute something a little more useful than wondering why no one posts every once in a while. Confused
