Schloop needs to win this weeks COTW contest. He has an awesome ORIGINAL ship that is both a work of art and a symbol of the awesomeness of LEGO. The TX tank is a well known SW vehicle and Darth Sutious did not need to come up with an ORIGINAL design to build. This week, I want to see the winner be Schloop for showing us creativity and building skill far beyond the other offerings for the contest. I am not saying that Darth Sutious's work is bad, but Schloop is far superior and he should win this week.

GO VOTE: http://www.fbtb.net/customs/index.asp?section=cotw

I voted for the JSF... Schloop's design just looks like a shrunk Naboo fighter...

I voted for the episode 3 'Jedi Speeder', not the Republic tank.

It's a superior model, but both ae extremely good.

:D! I love this thread! I never thought I'd see people rallying around a particular model for the COTW!

For what it's worth, I voted for shloop's too. Although at first glance Sutious' tank looks accurate, it actually isn't. I prefer original stuff myself, and I'm glad shloop's little ship has found an audience.

I'll give the poll until morning, around 8 am Pacific. Get your votes in!

Wow! Talk about a really close race! Darth Sutious and Schloop are litterally neck to neck on this one. TWO (2) votes are seperating them (I'm not telling who is in front so that it won't influence your vote).

Both deserve praises for their models. Great work!

This may be a little bit of a noobish question, but how do you get your customs in the contest? Not that mine would be in the contest, just wondering. Do they pick by themselves or do you have to enter them in?

It's randomized. Your pics have to be in the FBTB Customs Gallery to make it to the contest.

You wouldn't believe how many email submissions we get for "PUT MY MOC IN THE CONTEST!!1!" I guess it just isn't very clear how it's run...

...randomized to an extent. We have more control over what makes it into the CoTW now than we did before. Before there were some pretty unfair matchups due to the randomness of the selection process. Now we can pick and choose from the random images to compile the latest matchups. For example, a couple weeks ago I chose random droids, then it was ships with red coloring, and now this week it's X-wings. If I see something come up in the random draw that looks like it would do well in a fair fight against another moc, I keep shuffling through the random pics till I have 4 images.

Last I saw there was a difference of three votes between first and second and a tie for third and fourth.

It's even tighter now!

Only one (1) vote seperates the first two positions, and only one (1) vote seperates third and fourth place!
